Le port des Salines
TARIFF(S) PASS
Relive the gold rush … the gold is white!
Both natural area and saltworks, the Port des Salines enables the visitor to discover the multiple facets of that basic commodity, salt.
A family visit!
The eco-museum, home to exhibitions for young and old and set in the heart of colourful cabins, invites the visitor to discover the amazing world of salt and the marshes. The guided visit of the saltmarshes brings home to the visitor how this ancient trade operated. And in July and August you can even participate in the salt-harvest!
A boat-trip takes in the flora and fauna of the marshes. An open-access interpretation trail is part of the footpath.
Educational workshops, treasure hunts and tastings of local produce – booking necessary.
